A gorgeous, intimate Gleneagles Hotel wedding

This wedding was just the most gorgeous day and such a pleasure to be involved with. I had an amazing time getting to know Jen, Iestyn and their families at the Gleneagles Hotel, which is iconic in Scotland for it’s gorgeous surroundings and 5 star service.

Jen and Iestyn got ready together and made their way down to their drinks reception before the ceremony. Jen didn't want to walk into the ceremony before seeing everyone first so this was a perfect way for them to walk in together and calm the nerves. The image of Jen and her dad walking along to the ceremony is one of my favourites from the whole day, it’s such a special moment.

The ceremony itself was beautiful and meaningful, conducted by Kendal the Celebrant and accompanied with gorgeous music by harpist Sam MacAdam. The florals were from Wreath and Wild who we’ve worked with a few times and we always love what they do.

After the ceremony Jen and Iestyn cut their cake and had their first dance, and then we went out for photos. I left them to enjoy their evening before dinner and although I was only there for a short time I really got to know everyone and feel so privileged that I got to document this amazing day. I love that Jen and Iestyn completely made it their own, with only 10 guests and didn’t stick to a traditional timeline. I love these wee weddings where the true meaning of the day is forefront.

There was also the massive bonus that we met two gorgeous puppies that day because the Gleneagles is a dog friendly hotel!
