glenapp castle wedding

Oh my word, this venue is gorgeous! This wedding was my first time shooting here and loved every minute of it. The castle itself is so grand and beautiful with a huge space for the bride and her girls to get ready in. And then we moved down to the gardens and conservatory for the ceremony and dinner afterwards. The gardens are vast and so well kept, there’s a pond and forest area too, so we really had our pick of locations for the photography session.

Joe is a chef at Glenapp so he was on home turf. And i learned about Joe and Kelly actually lived on the estate when they first moved here from England for Joe’s job at the castle, so it really held a special place in their hearts, it just made sense for them to get married here. It was well worth the travel for this amazing day.

One of the highlights of the day, which i don’t see often, was their outdoor first dance. There’s just such a special atmosphere when couples have their first dance outside, i loved it.
