A military wedding at balbirnie house

We absolutely loved this day. Balbirnie is one of our favourite venues. It’s a stunning house and there’s expansive grounds to use.

Marie got ready in the Pearl Suite which has great light and lots of space for a full bridal party. We had loads of fun chatting and organising tik toks.

Fraser was in his military uniform for the main part of the day and then changed into his kilt for the evening. It was really nice to get that variety in their images. We made sure to take Marie and Fraser back out after dinner to get more bridal portraits as the light was soft and glowy, it was beautiful.

They had an outdoor ceremony on the lawn which was great, we love an outdoor ceremony as there’s so much space and chance for us to get different shots without disturbing anyone.

It was such a warm day and there was such a chilled atmosphere as everyone mingled, drank and laughed while a jazz band played in the background.
